2. The use of High carbon silicon can reduce a large number of impurities in steel grades and improve the fluidity of molten steel. It is very helpful for the continuous casting of converter steel.
3. The use of High carbon silicon has a good desulfurization effect, the method of use is simple, the labor intensity is reduced, and the work efficiency is improved.
Instructions:
Put the High carbon silicon into the ladle before tapping, and then add ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, or aluminum. When the end-point molten steel is over-oxidized, the carbon in the molten steel is low and the carburization treatment is required. The amount of High carbon silicon added (si content between 35 percent -50 percent , c content between 15 percent -25 percent is better, of course, the particle size should not be too large). Specifically, it needs to be used according to the amount.
